Predictions
For players in The NASCAR
Experience Fantasy Racing League and member of Experience
NASCAR, here is your chance to see how well you can predict the
results of the 2008 Chase for the Championship. This is a
fun contest merely to see who can pick the final Drivers
Standings.
Scoring for
the contest is as follows: Each selection will receive
12 points less the difference between predicted and actual
finish (i.e., you predict a driver to finish 5th and that
driver actually finishes 8th, you would get nine points).
Bonus points will be awarded for correct predictions as
follows:
Champion: 12
points
2nd Place: 11 Points
3rd Place: 10 Points
4th Place: 9 Points
5th Place: 8 Points
6th Place: 7 Points
7th Place: 6 Points
8th Place: 5 Points
9th Place: 4 Points
10th Place: 3 Points
11th Place:
2 Points
12th Place:
1 Point
If you
correctly predict the entire Top 12, the maximum points that
can be earned will be 222. The Tie-Breaker will be the
player that correctly predicts the Champion. If both
or neither predict the Champion, then the player that
correctly predicts the second place driver will win the
Tie-Breaker. We will work down the standings until the
tie is broken. If the tie cannot be broken through
this process, it will remain a tie.
